The Coven of the Clann na Sidhe is dedicated to fostering a supportive, respectful, and spiritually empowering community. As a coven rooted in the traditions of Celtic witchcraft, Faery lore, and devotion to the Morrighan, we adhere to the following ethical principles to guide our actions and ensure the well-being of all members.
We honor the sacredness of all living beings, whether human, animal, or spirit. Members of the coven must respect the rights, dignity, and autonomy of others, both within and outside the circle. Harmful actions, abuse, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
As seekers of wisdom and magic, we are committed to living with honesty, integrity, and authenticity. Members are expected to be truthful in their words, actions, and magical work. Deception, dishonesty, and betrayal have no place in our coven.
In accordance with the principle of “harm none,” we strive to avoid causing harm in our magical and mundane lives. We understand that our actions, both physical and magical, have consequences, and we work with intention to bring about positive outcomes for ourselves and others. Negative magic, malicious spellwork, or the intentional causing of harm will not be tolerated within this coven.
Each member of the coven is responsible for their actions, words, and magical practice. We recognize that we are accountable for the energy we put into the world and that personal growth requires responsibility. In rituals, spellwork, and daily life, we own the outcomes of our choices and respect the natural law of cause and effect.
Coven work is sacred and often deeply personal. Members are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding coven rituals, discussions, and the personal experiences of other members. What is shared within the circle remains within the circle. Breaches of confidentiality are considered a serious violation of trust.
We celebrate the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of our members. As a coven, we are inclusive and open to individuals from all walks of life. Discrimination or prejudice based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic is not acceptable. We honor and support each member’s unique spiritual journey.
Joining the Coven of the Clann na Sidhe is a serious commitment to learning, growth, and magical practice. Members are expected to dedicate time and energy to coven activities, rituals, and study. Consistency, respect for the coven’s work, and active participation are key to maintaining a strong and supportive community.
Our coven honors and works closely with the Sidhe (Faeries), ancestral spirits, and other magical beings. We approach these entities with reverence, respect, and humility. Members are expected to engage with these realms with caution and care, avoiding reckless or disrespectful behavior that could upset the balance between the worlds.
As the primary Goddess of our coven, the Morrighan holds a central place in our rituals and devotion. Members are expected to approach her with respect, and to seek her guidance in times of transformation, sovereignty, and protection. Her lessons are often challenging, but they guide us toward empowerment and growth.
Disagreements may arise within the coven, but they should be approached with respect and a willingness to listen. Members are encouraged to resolve conflicts peacefully and with open communication. Mediation by High Priests/Priestesses or Elders may be sought when necessary, but divisive behavior will not be tolerated.
We are stewards of the earth and its sacred places. Members of the coven are encouraged to respect the environment and to act in ways that honor the natural world. Ritual offerings, materials, and tools should be gathered with care, ensuring that we leave no harm in our wake.
Each member of the coven is on a path of personal and spiritual growth. Members are encouraged to continually seek knowledge, expand their understanding of witchcraft, divination, and Faery lore, and deepen their connection to the magical and natural worlds. Study, self-reflection, and openness to new experiences are key to thriving within the coven.
As members of a magical community, we strive to support one another and to contribute to the well-being of the coven. This may include sharing skills, offering guidance, or assisting with coven needs. Beyond the coven, we are committed to using our magical practices for the greater good, aligning our intentions with healing, protection, and the upliftment of all.
As members of the Coven of the Clann na Sidhe, we embrace this Code of Ethics as a living document that guides our actions, magical practices, and interactions with one another. We are committed to honoring the Morrighan, the Faery realm, and the sacred traditions of Scottish witchcraft as we walk this path of magic and transformation together.
This Code of Ethics ensures that members of the coven act in harmony with its values, promoting respect, integrity, and spiritual growth while fostering a deep connection to the magical and natural realms.
